About Us

Mitchell Family Construction has been building high end custom homes in the south Orange County coastal area (Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Laguna Beach, San Clemente, etc) since 1992. We pride ourselves on quality construction, professional organization, and daily hands on management by a principal of the company. We work with clients from pre-planning, hiring of architects and engineering consultants, construction budgeting, value engineering, construction management and well after Certificate of Occupancy to insure the process of building their custom estate is as stream lined a process as possible.

Jack and Kathy are the technical and visionary presence in the field while Lorie is the administrative and organizational side of the business. All projects are managed using an app that tracks estimating, contracting, costs, scheduling, and more. All clients are given a portal to the app to view progress. All subcontractors are vetted for experience as well as current and proper licensing and insurance. Some subcontractors have been part of the company’s core group for over twenty years. With Mitchell Family Construction every project is treated like their own, with hands on management and high quality control.

Mitchell Family Construction also does commercial construction, both new and tenant improvement.
